So I love reading blogs, watching vloggs & reading news articles on all things knitting. But is it just me that doesn't seem to have an issue with pooling, puddling or what was the other word, flashing?? See here's me the novice knitter I am thinking the wool was cool when it did that and I used to get annoyed and thought I was knitting wrong when the color didn't pool, puddle or flash. I love the different ways the self striping yarn can go.
But seriously lately all I am reading is 'bad pooling', 'I broke the yarn up with an extra color to prevent flashing,' etc etc... Like c'mon knitters, embrace the pooling, puddling & flashing ! It's funky, the wool has a personality of it's own. Embrace it, love it and results look amazing. But I guess its just me...
I'd love to know if there is any other knitters out there who embrace it. I think we should revolt start a movement something like
#EmbracePoolingPuddling&Flashing #LovePooling #LovePuddling #LoveFlashing Or something along those lines....
