ENTRY: Day Two

#KnitOm30DayChallenge.

UPDATE: I did one more mitten to match the baby hat. I've finished the Children's Cowl I've yet to Cast on any of the goal knit's for the challenge. I've joined in the conversation on the facebook page. I love reading what other's are doing although it does get a bit distracting... I might have gotten more knitting done if I wasn't at church for so long, but unexpected things happened and I ended up going in early (9.15ish) and staying until just after 2 pm. I was there for an almost good 5 hours. Then not long after church, it was time for work 4-8pm.

I am hoping to cast on a glove project tomorrow, although I realize that may be near impossible as I have a friend coming over in the morning for morning tea and I have nothing in the cupboards so I guess I will be up late baking a few goodies & I am sure I have work again (don't think I am complaining I am not I love my job. I work at a Video Store it's great) although I must confess most of my shift My Little Pony was playing because it was in the DVD player when I got there and I was too tired to look for something else. I am not a fan of My Little Pony it bugs me and I am glad my daughter didn't like it either.

One thing I have noticed since having a girl is that my wool colour schemes have progressed from purples, greens and blues to pinks, oranges and MORE PINK. I don't like pink, pink and I don't mix well. I've also noticed I am straying further and further from DK's & Acrylics and experimenting with pricey wool. I don't even know how that happened.

I wish I could be MORE organised in my life :) Oh well if wishes were kisses as the saying goes.

My week looks INSANELY busy with things (knitting, work, socialisation, meetings/appointments, volunteering and chores)  I am wondering how it happened.... I have so many dead weeks and then BAM! Two-Four really busy weeks...

                                       An Observation

One thing I've noticed since making this blog after I knit a project I am sewing it up immediately and haven't really caught the abandon a project bug yet. Although I still have my lovely WIP bin to deal with... The shame... I guess it's because I am holding myself accountable by blogging about it. I am not sure if I've mentioned this yet but I've also toyed with the idea of making a weekly vlog on youtube... Although I am not sure what I could possibly talk about on there that hasn't been said a thousand times by other's, I think it could be fun :)  All I know is if I do it will be on a Tuesday and maybe start out as once a fortnight. Anyway, time to cast on some gloves I think.
