So I've been on the facebook group you can join if you are a part of the 30-day-commit-to-knit which I recommend you doing if you haven't already.
Becky runs it and puts up questions at the beginning/end (depending what side of the world you are on) of every day for a bit of self-reflection. I've answered the first two on the page itself but I think I will start answering here from now on.
1 What are your habits of distraction?
Well, Chores is my biggest one because they have to be done and there never seems to be enough time in the day (there is and they do get done). I stress myself and my partner out on this one. There's a lot of urgency about the chores. They HAVE to get done. The silly thing is some days they don't and I am ok with that... I don't know what that's about.
The other is technology, phone, computer, t.v & internet.... They keep me glued to their screens... Which isn't healthy and because I am a "millennial" this is normal. It's ok to walk down the street with your phone out...
2 What uncomfortable feelings do you think you are avoiding?
There's a lot I know I am avoiding, but I don't know how to deal with these things, so I wait until someone comes along and I can ask them for help.
3 Do you worry about being alone with your thoughts? Why?
No, I don't.
