ENTRY: DAY 3

It is day 3 here in the cold winter land of New Zealand, the weather is miserable, but lucky me that I got woken up at 3 a.m by my daughter who was crying to no end for what reason I still don't know why. Possibly her night terrors are back which may mean another dawn wake up call tonight... Anyway getting up at 3 a.m did wonder for my house. I got laundry, dishes, and lunches all made I got the lounge tidied and bathroom cleaned all before 5 am. Then I got the luxury of crawling back into bed and sleeping until 8 am.

Yes, when I got up again the weather was still terrible.

But I don't have to go to work so YAY! I can enjoy my knitting and the nice roaring fire & if you are aware of my fire skills you'd know how hard I worked to light it & how much skill it's taking for me to keep it alive. Even more magnificent!

So I think it's time to confess something... These aren't the gloves I was going to cast on, I have a problem. I cast on a hat... although after what I've witnessed recently this hat was calling out to me telling me it needed to be cast on. I also know who the recipient of this hat is going to be. (& Trust me she is in need of some colour in her life right now). And this is the hat I have cast on & you guessed it, it's in the wonderful magnificent GARTER STITCH :)

I hope to complete this hat by the end of today so I can tackle that July list :)

It's also just dawned on me that I need to get a move on with my Christmas Knitting last year I was hoping to knit Christmas presents I only got 2 made. This year I plan on knitting a majority of it. I also plan on making stitch markers for a few of presents.
